On October 7, 2023, a terrible attack on innocent ravers celebrating love and peace shocked the world. I created this short rap to show my support for the people of Israel.

Two years ago the monsters from Hamas attacked a music festival and a nearby Kibbuz in Israel. They killed more than 1200 people and took more than 200 as hostages. This was not just an attack on the Jewish state, but on the core values of Western civilisation. With this little rap I want to express my support for Israel, especially as some people are trying to boycott Israel, which I think is totally stupid.
Since Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2005, which it had freed from Egyptian occupation in 1967, the Islamist terror organisation Hamas has created a regime that suppressed the Arabs in Gaza and constantly attacked nearby Israeli towns and villages. It is hard to understand why Israel tolerated this for so long.
Even less can I understand people who support Hamas and condemn Israel’s fight against the Islamist aggressors, who clearly say they want to destroy Israel and kill all Jews. One does not need to be Jewish (I am not), but just study history a bit to clearly take sides with the ones who have been attacked since 1948.
After the Ottoman Empire lost World War I, some of its provinces were given as a mandate to the British to establish a Jewish homeland. This “Mandate of Palestine” consisted of the areas which today form the states of Jordan and Israel.

Eastern Palestine was split off in 1922 and given to Britain’s war alleys, the Hashemites. In Western Palestine, which was very sparsely populated back then, Jews from Europe had been settling since the 19th century to build a Jewish state. The United Nations suggested another partition of the historic land of Judea, which the Jews accepted, but the Arabs didn’t. Instead, five Arab countries attacked the newly created state of Israel in 1948.

Miraculously Israel won this war and other Arab attempts to destroy it, e.g. the Six Day War of 1967 and the Yom Kippur War of 1973. Despite its character as a state for Jewish people, today nearly 2 million Arabs live in Israel with full citizen rights. Anyone who talks about a “genocide” and “apartheid” has no clue of history and reality. While the Jews were always open for negotiations and peaceful coexistence, the Arabs denied this many times. When Israel and the PLO finally agreed on peace in Oslo and Camp David in 1992, Hamas were the ones who opposed this and insisted on the destruction of Israel.
In its charter it justifies this with their Islamic belief and even quotes a Hadith which says: “The time will not come until Muslims will fight the Jews and kill them; until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, which will cry: Oh Muslim, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him!”
I think this is not just a conflict between Jews and Arabs, but between Western civilisation with its values of freedom, democracy and tolerance, and a barbaric, violent and intolerant ideology that threatens us all. Therefore everyone with a bit of knowledge and empathy should clearly support Israel in its war against terror.
The track is based on a royalty free beat which I downloaded (for around 5 USD) from Freebeats.io. I recorded my vocals on my mobile phone and asked my friend Anton from Israel to mix and master it. Everything had to go very quickly to be ready for October 7. It is surely not my most professional production, but it comes from the heart.
So far you can only hear my track on YouTube and on Wavlake.com, the big streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple will follow soon.

In case you do not understand the line “Masada will never fall again”: Masada is a fortress in the south of Israel which was the last stronghold of the Jewish resistance fighters against the Roman empire. With the fall of Masada in 73 AD, the diaspora of the Jewish people began. That is why the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces swear in their oath that “Masada will never fall again”.
