It is John Lennon’s birthday today and to honour this amazing musician, my song Let’s Imagine, an obvious tribute to his masterpiece ‘Imagine’, has been published on Spotify and other mainstream music platforms.

The song describes an utopian society without governments, based on voluntary actions and decentralised technology. Is such a free society possible? “You may say that I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one.”
I recorded my acoustic guitar and vocals as well as drums played by Agustín Zuccharo at Studio RitmoTK in Málaga. Nicolás López Soto added a beautiful piano in Playa del Carmen (Mexico), Julio Kladniew played bass guitar in Buenos Aires and arranged the strings, which gives the songs its anthemic character.
The music video consist of the lyrics in bold type and video footage I downloaded for free from Pixabay.com and Pexels.com, so the budget was exactly zero.
Nevertheless, people like it. I performed the song at a Bitcoin meetup in London and at a Libertarian conference in Klaipeda (Lithuania), I sang live to an instrumental version of the video playing in the background. Both times the audience were waving their mobile phones, as you would do for ballads and anthems at live shows. It gave me goosebumps!
