Ikigai is a simple Bo Diddley beat about the Japanese concept of how to find purpose in life. Four things have to come together to achieve Ikigai:
1. It is something you love
2. It is something you are really good at
3. It is something the world needs
4. It is something people are willing to pay for.

I recorded this song live with my band, only my vocals and the guitar solo were overdubbed later. Here is a short report about the recording. The cool cover photo was taken by Marc Bernot during a gig at the EF conference on Rügen, Germany.
