My New Song is Political

So far, most of my songs were about spiritual topics, like meditation, mindfulness and being in a flow state. However, I am also interested in politics and economics. My new single Human Action is an anthem for Libertarianism and Free Market economics.

‘Human Action’ is also the title of the most important book of the Austrian School of Economics, written by Ludwig von Mises. In my song I also quote two other important Austrian economists: Friedrich August von Hayek and Murray Rothbard. It even contains an audio quote by Hayek from 1984 in which he predicts Bitcoin.

It starts with the famous slogan of the Argentinian president Javier Milei:
“Viva la libertad, carajo!” (Freedom forever, damn it!). Milei, who was a professor of economics before he got into politics, is the best example, that free market economics lead to better result. President Milei has radically cut government spendings, which he symbolises by a chainsaw. His libertarian measures have already resulted in a much lower inflation, higher economic growth and increasing wealth in Argentina. Most importantly, it is improving the lives of Argentinian, especially the poor.

If you like Socialism, this song isn’t for you. It clearly states “Socialism of all colours always leads to tyranny – red, brown, green, it’s all the same, it always ends in mysery”, which is an obvious truth. This has already been proven in the 1920s by Ludwig von Mises, and history has confirmed it over and over again. A free-market economy always leads to more prosperity and is the basis for a free society.

Musically the song is a mix of Reggae, Rock and Jazz and even sports some Arabic influences. It was recorded in Málaga, Spain, and Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and produced by the Argentinan Alejandro de Feo. In the music video, I am disguised as the poster boy of the left, Che Guevara, ironically posing at Socialist mass events, while harshly bashing Socialism.

I guess you either hate it or love it! In any case, please listen to it and share it!
